What is the Lake Belton Band Fan-Pledge Fundraiser?
The Fan-Pledge Fundraiser is a powerful initiative that leverages the support of our community to raise funds for the Lake Belton Band. By gathering pledges from family, friends, and supporters, we can provide our students with the resources they need for new instruments, travel expenses, and other essentials. This fundraiser has proven successful for many groups in our area, and we're confident it will be a hit this year as well.
How Does It Work?
Each band member is asked to gather 25 email addresses and phone numbers from potential donors—think family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and even professionals like doctors or dentists. We emphasize that all contacts are strictly private and protected; they will not be sold or shared and will only be used for this fundraiser. On July 31, 2024, our members will participate in a 40-minute Live Campaign. During this event, they will reach out to their contacts, who can make pledges and leave messages of encouragement. This concentrated effort allows us to generate substantial funds in a short time without requiring extensive volunteer hours.
Getting Started
For returning participants, it's crucial to complete a few steps to join this year's fundraiser. Even if you've participated before, you must create a new account using the same email or phone number to access existing contacts. Here's a quick guide to getting started:

Click the blue "Join" button in the top right corner.
Enter the school code 72388-37204 and click "join."
Select your name from the dropdown list. If you don't see your name, click "I'm not on the list."
Create a new account, including a profile image and how you'd like your name to appear to fans. Save your login details.
Click the blue "add contact" button.
Enter your contacts on or before July 29, 2024. Our leaders will check progress daily.
