VP of Operations Reports – Jenna Drake

  • Color Guard: Mr. A is thrilled about the new foam seats for the Color Guard on those metal stadium benches.

  • Chairperson of Communications – Jessica Terry

    • Branding Update: The Stampede has officially become a brand!

    • Senior Spotlights: Starting in November, we’ll feature two seniors per day through March. The posts will include a baby picture, a middle school picture, a senior band photo, and a favorite band or Color Guard memory. Seniors will submit their information through a Google form.

Middle School Band Reports – Joanie Sharp

  • Lake Belton Middle School:

    • Beginner Band is making great progress, playing 3–5 notes already.

    • 8th graders had a blast at Middle School Night with the high school band—an amazing recruitment event!

      • Oct. 2: Region Band Cram Jam (4:30–7:30 PM)

      • Oct. 9: Fan Pledge Fundraiser

      • Oct. 10: Beginner Band Sit-In Concert

    • Facilities Update: Acoustics, instrument cages, and lighting issues are being worked on, but overall the new band hall is beautiful.

  • North Belton Middle School: No report was given.

VP of Functions – Elizabeth Hicks

  • Event Updates:

    • BOCO Dance: 171 tickets sold already, surpassing last year!

    • Senior Night: Scheduled for Nov. 8.

  • Uniforms: Additional sizes of bibbers were ordered to ensure proper fit and new Shako racks have been acquired for hat transportation. We will have a designated chaperone at each game to assist with uniform adjustments.

  • Chaperones: We clarified the policy for Color Guard volunteers. Additional slots are available for returning or new volunteers.

President's Report – Jenna Drake

  • Michael Hawk Stampede Fund: The fund is no longer an assistance program but will continue to provide support in line with nonprofit guidelines. The fund has been used to cover student fees, and specific numbers are now available for review.

Open Floor & Questions

No additional questions were raised during the meeting.
