Hello Stampede Family,
Parents, please make sure your child is on time for marching band rehearsals each morning. We still have quite a few kids who are showing up late to rehearsals. We start promptly at 7:30 am. If they are in the front ensemble, they must be here no later than 7:00 am to get the front ensemble equipment moved and ready. The band hall doors are locked at 7:30 am each morning. Please plan accordingly to get your band kiddo here so we can all start on time!
We have our first Monday night rehearsal coming up. Parents, please make sure you are here promptly at 7:00 pm to pick up your student from this rehearsal. Our second Monday night rehearsal lands on our school holiday of Labor Day on September 2nd. This is a school holiday, but this is also a required rehearsal and is for a grade, just like all Monday night rehearsals.
I sent out a message earlier this week concerning a new Belton ISD Extracurricular Code of Conduct that needs to be read and signed. It was available on Rank One. I need everyone to please take a look at this and get the electronic form signed. Currently, 138 students have not gotten this signed. Please take care of this over the weekend!
We have our Community Pep Rally coming up next Friday, August 23rd, here at Bronco Stadium. This event will start at 6:30 pm All band students will need to be here on the field, ready to warm up and play stand tunes no later than 6:10 pm. The Dri-Fit Stampede shirt is the only uniform requirement for this pep rally. Students must wear shorts, but they can wear school-appropriate shorts and tennis shoes. Hats and sunglasses are ok and highly recommended!!
IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ - They have released the SAT testing dates. 2 of the testing dates conflict with band events. DO NOT sign up for the SAT test on Saturday, October 5, 2024 (Marching Contest) or on Saturday, December 7, 2024 (All-Region Auditions). Any of the other dates are fine!

Sept 5 - Thursday Night Football Game vs. McNeil @ Tiger Stadium 7:00 pm - (This is our Middle School Band Night).
Sept 9 - Monday Night Rehearsal 5-7pm
Sept 12 - Football Game at Killeen @ Buckley Stadium at 7:00 pm
