Band Notes -August 11, 2024

Hello Stampede Family,

Important Band Notes Lake Belton High School

Welcome to another marching band season!  We are in full swing and the kids are doing great!  We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday night for a sneak peek of our 2024 production “Eternal Glory”.  The show will start at 7:00 pm and students will need to be here on the field for warmup and a short rehearsal at 6:30 pm.  They need to be wearing their Stampede Unders Shorts and Dri-Fit shirt (Not the cotton t-shirt), as well as their solid long black socks and marching shoes.  Kona Ice will be here so make sure to get a sno-cones to help cool off while you enjoy the show!  After the show, we will have the fire department here to hose off the band kids as an “End of Summer Camp” fun activity!  We hope you are looking forward to this night as much as we are! I

IMPORTANT!!!  PLEASE READ - They have released the SAT testing dates.  2 of the testing dates conflict with band events.  DO NOT sign up for the SAT on Saturday, October 5, 2024 (Marching Contest) or on Saturday, December 7, 2024 (All-Region Auditions).  Any of the other dates are fine!

• Aug 13 - Summer Band Camp 8:00 am-4:00 pm

• Aug 13 - Parent Preview @ Bronco Stadium 7:00 pm

• Aug 14 - First Day of School, MORNING REHEARSAL 7:30 am

• Aug 19 - Monday Night Rehearsal 5-7 pm

• Aug 23 - Community Pep Rally @ Bronco Stadium 6:30 pm

• Aug 26 - Monday Night Rehearsal 5-7 pm

• Aug 30 - Football Game vs. A&M Consolidated @ Tiger Stadium 7:00 pm

• Sept 2 - Monday Night Rehearsal 5-7 pm (Yes, this is a school holiday. No morning rehearsal but we will have an evening rehearsal.  This is a mandatory rehearsal)

• Sept 5 - Thursday Night Football Game vs. McNeil @ Tiger Stadium 7:00 pm - This is our Middle School Band Night.
